Join us for a tasting evening of Doolhof’s best produce with the Winemaker.
For just N$350, you’ll enjoy a scrumptious dinner, whereby each one of the 3 courses will be paired with a different wine. Whilst you enjoy your meal, there will also be a live performance by our very own Voice of Namibia winner, Lin-Mari.
The winelist of the evening is as follows;
Youthful purple, fresh in colour. A mocha explosion with dark chocolate, rich black fruit, almonds, and black cherries on the nose. All these elements follow through adding complexity and depth on the palate. Light to medium body with soft, well integrated tannins. Lovely fruit and wood balance, this wine is made to enjoy young.
Pinotage from premium vineyards harvested mid – February 2021. Only superior quality free run wine was used. 24-hour cold soaking with the addition of yeast thereafter. Colour and aroma extraction was done applying three pump-overs per day. Fermentation lasted six days. The wine underwent 100% malolactic fermentation done in combination with dark toasted French oak. The wine was filtered and bottled on 28 October 2021.
Spicy Lamb kebabs, burgers, or smoky pork chops
Pale yellow to clear with a light green tinge in colour. The wine is dominated by lovely tropical notes with underlying green figs and goosberries on the nose. It is underlined with a core of mineral flavours. A crisp line of acidity carries the wine beautifully, with a fresh and lingering finish.
The grapes were harvested at early morning and processed reductively to preserve flavours and aromas. After settling out all rough lees, the juice was racked and inoculated with a selected yeast strain and fermented between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius for about a month whereafter the wine was left on thelees for 8 months to add structure and palate weightto the wine. Filtered and bottled in October 2022.
Will pair well with most sea-foods or with mild spicy chicken or vegetables.

With more than 3780 breast cancer cases having been reported to the Cancer Association of Namibia in the last decade, this cancer remains the most prevalent in the country.
Cervical cancer and breast cancer are the most prevalent amongst women and jointly amount to an average of 600 cases per year during the last decade and order to sustain the programmes initiated daily, the Cancer Association of Namibia is heavily dependent on the success of fundraising projects in addition to awareness and education drives.
Thank you to all the Project partners and supporters of the first “post-Covid-19” ladies’ breakfast. Your support enables CAN to continue supporting breast and cervical cancer in Namibia.
