What is the Future Stars Program?
Future Stars is a youth sports program aimed at introducing school sports to government schools in Namibia, with a particular focus on the Swakopmund area. Our goal is to nurture talent and passion for sports among the younger generation, ultimately feeding into clubs and teams in the region. We believe that sports not only promote physical health but also instill valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and leadership.
At Future Stars, we offer training and coaching in a variety of sports, including netball, hockey (both indoor and outdoor), handball, soccer, and volleyball. We partner with government schools, inviting children to join us at The Dome, where our dedicated volunteers provide guidance and instruction in their chosen sport. Additionally, we are fortunate to have the support of German exchange students who contribute their expertise in athletics, volleyball, and handball.
