Namibia Sport Expo

The MTC Dome Namibia is committed to empower and inspire Namibians through sport. As the largest and most versatile indoor sports facility in Namibia, the MTC Dome High-Performance Centre is an international ASPC-accredited entity and multi-functional sports destination located in beautiful Swakopmund.

The ability of sport to encourage, unify, elevate and enable Namibians cannot be emphasized enough.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in our upcoming Namibia Sport Expo (NSE) from 8-10 December 2022 at the MTC Dome High-Performance Centre, Swakopmund. Following a partnership agreement, the NSE will be hosted annually by MTC Dome and the Namibia Sport Commission to incorporate all sports federations and affiliates to benefit from this gathering. 

This 3-day event has the key objective to engage local and international industry representatives, training experts and other critical stakeholders to share sport affiliation experiences and debate pertinent skills and sport development issues affecting the sector. Our focus will be on new training methodology, high-performance sport and development pathways, the latest sports apparel and equipment as well as creating new affiliations and partnerships.

The NSE 2-day program includes a Sport Conference (8,9 December) and workshops on 10 December, while a Sport Exhibition will run simultaneously at our Indoor Sport Centre covering 6,100m² to showcase credible and accredited local and international sport affiliations and businesses to exhibit their products. 

This is going to be an event of national importance, as it will bring together talented Namibians and key regional and global sports stakeholders, generating significant value for all participants. Our focus will be on new training methodology, high-performance sport and development pathways, the latest sports apparel and equipment as well as creating new affiliations and partnerships. This is aligned with the Namibian National Sports Commission’s Strategic Plan “to ensure and enable an environment and high-performance culture” to guarantee the expectations it has for skills training in generating much-needed momentum for growth and development of sport at all levels”.

The event is to include the following components:

  • A Sport Expo, in which credible and accredited local and international Sport Affiliations and businesses exhibit their products
  • An international Sport Conference, which is in support of a key engagement objective to bring together on a single platform, local and international industry representatives, training experts and other critical stakeholders to share Sport Affiliation experiences and debate pertinent skills and sport development issues affecting the sector.
  • Panel discussions around relevant topics.
  • Sports accreditation and certification opportunities in several sports codes.

Sport has the power to change the nation, it has the power to inspire and create hope. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does. It speaks to youth in a language they understand. Join us and be part of MTC Dome’s vision to unleash the potential of our future stars.


The Namibia Sport Expo information

The Namibia Sport Expo will be hosted inside and around the Indoor Sport Centre from 8 – 10 Dec 2022 to the public. There will be a multitude of sport-related exhibitors indoors, food vendors and kids entertainment in the nearby surrounding outdoor area. On Friday and Saturday, 9 and 10 Dec, there will be performances, entertainment, and the Archery World Championship.

Course DescriptionJumpstretch Flexband Variable Isotonic Resistance Strength & Stretching. In this course we will focus on functional conditioning principles with the use of Flexband resistance bands. JSSA’s foundation is built on five pillars. Flexibility, Mobility, Stability, Strength, and Stamina. Our goal is to help people improve athletic performance, fitness, lose weight, become more flexible, prevent injuries, and get relief from chronic injuries. Our aim is to revolutionize the fitness industry by making the “gym environment” mobile. Fitness professionals and coaches will be provided with a turnkey solution to the known challenges (equipment cost, maintenance, office space & rental costs, time constraints) that exist in the coaching environment. The resistance Flexband training will allow participants to get the most accurate, comprehensive solution to their pressing fitness needs.
